New School and Child Care
Design is well underway for the new Lord Tennyson Elementary School in the Kitsilano neighbourhood of Vancouver. The $24.5 million French Immersion school will be home to more than 400 students from kindergarten to Grade 7. The LEED Gold project will feature state-of-the-art 21st century learning environments on the first and second floors and a child care centre with an expansive outdoor play area on the third floor.
New 21st Century Learning Commons
The former library at King David School was recently transformed into a bright, light-filled 21st century learning commons with social and study spaces designed to support core skill competencies such as collaboration, digital literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to help students thrive in today’s world.
Originally completed by AOA in 2005, King David High School is an award-winning independent Jewish school that fuses the traditions of Judaism with the provincial educational curriculum.
