999 Seymour has received a City of Vancouver Urban Design Award, which celebrates Vancouver’s great architecture and urban design.
The awards program recognizes that good design enriches the overall experience of the city through the careful consideration of the design of public spaces and the buildings that interact with the spaces.
West Point Grey Academy

New Learning Commons


The new learning commons at West Point Grey Academy was recently fitted out with new furniture and equipment, giving the students an opportunity to get acquainted with the bright and airy space before school breaks for the summer. Other recent improvements have been made to the senior school, junior school, preschool, skills centre, dining hall, and gymnasium.

New School and City Child Care


The BC Ministry of Education has approved $19.6 million in funding from the provincial Seismic Mitigation Program to replace the aging 1912 Sir Sandford Fleming Elementary School. The project will include a 69-space child care centre through a unique partnership between the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Children and Family Development, the Vancouver School Board, and the City of Vancouver.
The design incorporates innovative 21st century learning environments on the first and second floors with a state-of-the-art rooftop child care centre.

Best New Toronto Restaurant 2016


The recently completed Cactus Club First Canadian Place has been named one of the Best New Toronto Restaurants by Torontolife.com. Completed in October 2015, Cactus Club’s eastern flagship restaurant is located In the heart of downtown Toronto at the base of the city’s tallest tower—the iconic First Canadian Place. The 1,400 square meter, 500 seat, three level restaurant brings vitality and transparency to the Adelaide streetfront.
