Completed in 2009, the Stella | Kingsway Honda mixed-use project serves as a gateway to the Mount Pleasant.
The 110,000 sf development includes 96 residential market units and a full service automobile dealership, thought to be the first in North America to combine such uses.
In 2010 the project was featured in “A Guide to Contemporary Architecture in Vancouver” published by Douglas & McIntyre.

DP Board Approval

Acton Ostry presented The Independent, a mixed-use residential project for Rize Alliance, to the Development Permit Board on July 14, 2014. The colourful and eclectic transit-oriented project received unanimous approval from the Board.
The design expresses the vibrancy of the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood through a bricolage approach inspired by local street photography, West Coast art, and the essence of hill towns. A tree-topped crown will mark Mount Pleasant in Vancouver’s Greenest City skyline.
